Test Syllabus

The Admission Test will be of Two Hours duration. Every candidate has to answer 150 questions from multiple choice questions. For every correct answer 02 marks will be awarded.

  1. B.A. Admission Test (Intermediate Standard)
  2. English or Hindi (Language and Literature) (Select any one) 25 Questions
  3. General Awareness 25 Questions
  4. General Mental Ability Test 25 Questions
  5. Subject Test (chose any 03) 75 Questions

Out of seven subjects, namely Civics, Economics, Geography, History, Logic, Sanskrit, and Urdu each subject will have 25 questions of Intermediate level. The candidate will have to opt any three subjects from amongst these and shall answer all the questions from the three subjects so opted.

Note: Admission to B.F.A.and B.P.A. will also be done on the basis of this test and practical test.

  1. B.F.A. Admission (Intermediate Level)
  1. The Duration of the course leading to the degree of B.F.A shall be of four academic years.
  2. The candidates should opt BFA in application form. There shall be same UGAT (BA) Test for BFA candidates also. Candidates have to appear in the UGAT (BA) Test of the University and then in the practical test of the department.
  3. The admissions shall be made on the basis of merit in UGAT (BA) entrance test conducted by the University of Allahabad and Practical test of the Department (Department of Visual Arts). Applicant shall be required to appear in both Practical & UGAT (BA) Test.

Note: Admission shall be on the basis of computed marks of UGAT (B.A.) admission test and practical test of the department.

  1. B.P.A. Admission (Intermediate Level)

The candidate shall appear in UGAT (B.A.) test for admission in BPA Course. They shall opt BPA in application form. They must appear in the UGAT (B.A.) test the University and practical test of the Department of Music and Performing Arts.

Note: Admission shall be on the basis of computed marks of UGAT (B.A.) admission test and practical test of the department.

  1. B.Sc. Admission Test- (Intermediate Standard)

Common to B.Sc. (Biology), B.Sc. (Mathematics), B.Sc. (Bio) + B.Sc. (Home Sc.), B.Sc. (Maths) + B.Sc. (Home Sc.).

  1. General English or General Hindi (Select anyone) 20 Questions
  2. General Awareness 10 Questions
  3. Science Group (Intermediate level) 120 Questions

There will be 40 questions in each of the following four subjects: 1. Physics, 2. Chemistry, 3. Mathematics and 4. Biology. Candidates of Maths stream [including B.Sc. (Maths) + B.Sc. (Home Sc.)] have to select 120 questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and that of Biology stream [including B.Sc. (Bio.) + B.Sc. (Home Sc.)] have to select 120 questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

  1. B. Com. Admission Test (Intermediate Standard)
  2. General English or General Hindi (Select any one) 25 Questions
  3. General Awareness 25 Questions
  4. Commerce (Intermediate level) 100 Questions
  5. B.Sc. (Home Science): Only such female applicants who have passed or appeared at the Intermediate Examination conducted by the U.P. Board/C.B.S.E./I.C.S.E. or an examination equivalent examination either with (a) Science Group, or

(b) With any other Group having Home Science as one of the subjects after having passed the High School (or equivalent) examination with Science Group are eligible to apply for the Undergraduate Admission Test for B.Sc. (Home Science).

  1. i- Eligibility for Admission in B.A. (opt) Music/BPA : Student must have Music in Intermediate level.

ii- Eligibility for Admission in B.A. (opt) Geography : Student must have Geography or Science in Intermediate level.

iii- Eligibility for Admission in B.A. (opt) Urdu : Student must have Urdu in Intermediate level.

Test Results

  • (ii) The results can be seen on the website aupravesh2020.com or Admission-2020 link of www.allduniv.ac.in
  • (iii) Admission will be done on the basis of merit list announced by Director on computed marks.
  • (iv) Computed Marks = Candidate’s Test Score + Weightage/Premium (if any) – Deductions (if any)
  • (v) If two or more candidates obtain the same computed total marks, their relative merit for the purpose of admission and/or allotment of subjects (s) shall be determined on the following basis:
  • a) The marks obtained by the candidate in the Intermediate or equivalent examination;
  • b) In case the marks obtained by the two candidates in the Intermediate or equivalent examinations are equal then the marks obtained by the two candidates in the High School or equivalent examination;
  • c) In case the marks obtained by the two candidates in the High School or equivalent examination are also equal, then by the draw of lots.
